Saturday started off as a great day, I stayed home and read most of the morning, and tried some blueberry Pepsi (It sounds gross but it has real blueberry juice and it’s actually really good).
Later, I was bored, so I decided I would take a trip to the shoe store. The closest one to my house in the mall, it’s a Shoe Department Encore that just got there not long ago. After looking through a warehouse sized shoe store, spending way more than intended at Bath and Body Works, getting some tea at Panera, and getting absolutely soaked in a down pour we didn’t know was coming, I made it back home.

I love the Houston sandal style shoe and I was happy to see they had several styles in many colours. They had a navy blue pair I absolutely despised and a nude pair I really liked. In the end I decided on the red pair, since I have quite a few black dresses that I thought they might go with. I was very excited to see they were only $20, so I had to get them!
Fast forward a few minutes to when we were passing Bath and Body Works. One can not simply pass Bath and Body Works and not go in, at least to smell the new scents. Of course, they had a buy three get three free sale, which they usually have. So, of course, we had to buy three. There were three of us there, me, my mom, and my sister, so we each got three scents. I was looking at there new summer scents, and really liked the Bali Black Coconut Sands because it smells like coconut cream pie. After walking around for a little while, I finally found it in a body spray, which is what I really wanted.
I still needed another item though and my sister was looking at a floral scent called One In A Million that I hadn’t seen before. Long story short, I thought it smelled pretty good and got it.
So in the end I came home with a pair of shoes, two body sprays, a ginger hibiscus tea, and soaking wet clothes. Hope you had a great weekend too! Be sure to check out my newest Instagram post showing my newest books! I’ll be sure to have some reviews written for them as soon as I get them read, and I’ll update you on my progress via goodreads.
