Happy Easter everyone! I hope you have a great Sunday, and enjoy the holiday with your family! Today I have my beautiful Easter outfit to share with you, and how I purchased it all just the day before!
I’m good at procrastinating, and I definitely did this year. I didn’t even start looking for an Easter outfit until yesterday. I spent most of my day looking for a dress and shoes, and didn’t have any luck until almost 4:00pm.
I spent my morning at home with a homemade salted caramel latte, and the book I’m currently reading, Silence the third book in the Hush Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick. Then I headed to Jcpenney because they usually have an abundance of dresses, and I’d been there with a friend just the day before and had seen some bright coloured dresses. I didn’t have any luck there, everything I picked either fit my stomach strange, or was too open.
After lunch I got started again and headed to Kohl’s where I’ve had luck in the past. However, since the last time I’d been to the Kohl’s near me, it had gone way downhill. The store was very cluttered, and everything was hard to find. I had no luck there either. Next I went to Ross, but didn’t have any luck there. I also went to Famous Footwear, hoping to find some shoes, but they only had twine wrapped wedges, and I’m really not that into that latest trend.
So I went home to look online for some more stores where I could look for dresses. I found a Dress Barn not that far from my house, so I decided to try there. I finally had some luck!

I found a Calvin Klein dress that I really liked because it flows and has a more summer looking floral pattern. With the sale price, it ended up being only $50. I also found some pretty silver earrings that were $12 that I thought would go with the dress.
Then off to Target to look for some shoes that matched. I knew I probably needed white shoes, but I really don’t like white shoes. Target didn’t have any white shoes at all, so I decided to try one last place, DSW.
When I first walked in, I found a beautiful pair of pointed toe heels with criss-cross straps. They were hot pink, and I wasn’t sure at first, but I decided hot pink would look fine with my green dress. Sadly, they didn’t fit right, the toe was too tight while the straps were too big, so I decided to try another pair of heels that I liked a little bit more, in the same colour. These worked perfectly and were only $45! So I ended up with the second pair.
The whole store was BOGO half off, and they had a cute handbag that was the same colour as my shoes. It was originally $30, but with the half off, it was only $15, and matched my outfit perfectly, so I had to get it.
I ended up rocking Easter, and I hope you did too with your equally amazing outfits! Happy Easter everyone!

Lovely outfit. You have good taste.
